1930’S YELLOW WATERED MOIRE LONG DRESS W PUFF SLEEVES + VELVET + TRAINING REAR

DATING TO THE 1930’S FASHIONED OF A GOLDEN YELLOW WATERED MOIRE TAFFETA. ROUNDED PAN COLLAR WITH RUCHED GATHERING AT THE TOP CENTER FRONT. THE SLEEVES HAVE A PUFF FULLNESS AND TAPER TIGHT AT THE BOTTOM AND ARE TRIMMED IN SIX SILK VLEVET COVERED BOB BUTTONS ON THE BOTTOM OF EACH THAT MATCH THE 29 BUTTONS THAT CLOSE THE SPINE. HOOK AND SNAP CLOSURE AT THE SIDE. BRAID SILK VELVET BELTING ENCIRCLES THE WAIST WITH AN OVER SIZED SILK VELVET BOW WITH LONG TAILS RUNNING DOWN THE REAR. THE REAR FLOWS IN A LONG TRAIN. CONDITION: INNER SOILING SEEN ON THE BOTTOM EDGE TRAIN WITH THREE PINHEAD HOLES AND SOME DARK SPOT STAINS THAT EXTEND NO MORE THAN TWO INCHES UP INTO THE FABRIC. I WOULD FIRST ATTEMPT TO CLEAN AND THEN LAST RESULT EITHER SHORTEN OR TRIM THE BOTTOM HEM FULLY AROUND. A SERIES OF SIX PINHEAD STAINS WITH ONE FINGERTIP STAIN IS JUST ABOVE KNEE LEVEL ON THE REAR LEFT LEG. THE GOWN IS OTHERWISE IN BEAUTIFUL CLEAN CONDITION, THE HEM DOES NOT DETRACT AS IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND FLOWING.
